While I totally agree that Strikers BL is awesomely fun and gorgeous, it's hard to read something like "As it stands it already feels like a complete product". especially seeing as Ubisoft hasn't been above dusting off some other classics of the era.Ĭloser to the topic, I have yet to get Captain Tsubasa, but I might grab Behold the Kickmen soon, it's currently on sale, so even more of a steal with what it promises for the price.

Not just autoball either - there were ice hockey and basketball versions from what I recall! Would be swell to see it joining SNES app or just ported to Switch overall (perhaps with the later 32 bit port enhancements). Seriously, the 16 bit Street Racer (fun overall despite being at odds with its own title as a kart game with Road Rash-esque brawl elements and little to resemble an actual street among its environments) had a couple extra modes and one of them was car sports. I still haven't tried Rocket League (even after procrastinating long enough that I missed my chance to get the retail version despite all the discounts - maybe I'll just invest in the equivalent content as a premium pack, assuming they offer one), but it keeps sending my thoughts back to. So what if you're literally the only player (by default) and opposed by literal land mines and rocket launchers rather than tackles and blocks?
scratch "not quite", it IS a football game. Might as well add an honourable mention for SoccerDie - not QUITE a football game in the traditional sense, but it's explicitly football-themed, it takes place on a football field, it has you kick the ball towards the goal for scoring.
